CompTIA CySA+ Certification Programme

This programme prepares participants for the CompTIA CySA+ CS0-003 exam, focused on threat detection, behavioural analytics, and security operations. It is the natural progression from CompTIA Security+ and is designed for professionals moving into analyst or SOC roles.

Programme Modules

Threat and Vulnerability Management
Vulnerability scanning techniques, remediation workflows, threat intelligence platforms, and integrating threat data into security operations.

Security Operations and Monitoring
Log analysis, SIEM tools, network traffic analysis, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and identifying indicators of compromise (IoC).

Incident Response
Incident classification, containment strategies, root cause analysis, and post-incident reporting procedures aligned with industry standards.

Reporting and Communication
Writing vulnerability reports, communicating risk to non-technical stakeholders, and producing actionable security recommendations.

Compliance and Assessment
Security frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, and Malaysian regulatory requirements. Audit preparation and security control assessment.

Final Activity: Security Operations Simulation
Participants analyse a simulated security incident using provided log files and threat data, produce an incident report, and present remediation recommendations to the group.
